Elf

Sunday was our first Christmas family movie night of the 2016 season.  Ellie chose Elf because it makes us all laugh outloud.  It is unrealistic and pretty goofy, yet we love to get caught up in the antics of Buddy the Elf.

I've added some of our favorite sayings from the movie.  And believe me, there are SO many more.  Ridiculous things like the 4 food groups of an Elf are:

Candy

Candy Canes

Candy Corn

Maple Syrup

The note he leaves for the family when he messes things up and leaves:

"I'm sorry I messed up your lives and shoved 11 cookies into the VCR."

Christmas is about joy.  It's about sharing.  And most of all I like to think it's about laughter and the experience of being together!
