Today is the first day of our annual Girls' Burger Challenge 2016. It was a gorgeous, sunny day and we didn't venture too far from home to find a great place!
Shady's Burger Joint and Brew-Ha-Ha is in Richardson - literally right around the corner from our State Farm offices. Funny we've never been there. What a great little place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was friendly, the burgers were great and we considered it a good call!
Ellie and I have lots to consider during a Burger Challenge, especially because they'll be ranked by the end of the week. This place had many choices of speciality burgers, hand-cut (skins-on) shoestring fries, fountain Coke, with almost-good ice and delicious shakes!
Several families and others out for lunch break surrounded us during out time there. It was in a beautifully wooded plaza where we walked afterward and snapped a few photos. What a gorgeous day!
