Day Two - Burger Challenge 2016
Today we found Burger Edge in Dallas to enjoy our lunch, on the second day of Burger Challenge 2016! It was a nice, clean, simple burger place in a plaza with other nice stores. So nice that next door was a Massage Envy where I finally redeemed some birthday gift cards for skin care products after we ate!
A burger challenge is a lot like when you are house hunting. There's always a number one. And the number one can be upset by the next place or the very last place you visit! Burger Edge was good, but #2 on the list so far this week.
Ellie ranks them easily. No worry of hurt feelings, no return trip, nothing. She says, '#1" or "I liked the first one better."
Here's the low down. Burgers were 1/3 lb with a choice of american, cheddar, jack or swiss. The fixin's were on the burger bar to add as much or as little as you like. The rolls were outstanding! The fries were larger than yesterday which is a good thing, yet Ellie didn't like them covered in salt and pepper.
No Coke. No good ice.
Ellie had Mug Root Beer and I had ice tea. Sounds like a good compromise. Unless we're comparing apples to apples, and then Coke with the good ice wins every time!
