Thursday was all about the shopping and the Angry Dog! We marathon-shopped at TJMaxx and HomeGoods ... phew! And worked up quite an appetite. So when Ellie said, "which burger place are we going to today?" I decided to venture into Deep Ellum and experience Angry Dog for the first time. They were D Magazine's #1 Burger in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013!
It was hopping when we arrived about 1pm. They found us a table for two in the middle of a party of 3 and a nice older couple to the other side. It was honestly like being at the Parting Glass on St. Patrick's Day. Packing in like sardines. Yet this was a Thursday in late December in Dallas.
We loved the burgers, although it's Ellie's #2 of the 3 so far. I'm good with that. We'll see where Day Four takes us!
Below we just had some fun. This is my best effort at making Ellie laugh since she was a bit cranky. You can see by the end, she was happy again. Mission accomplished!
