When it rains in Dallas it's a very good thing.  We've come to understand that it doesn't rain nearly enough here .. and the ground really needs a good soaking rain every so often.  Today is one of those days.  It's been raining consistently since we awoke.  And to be honest, its not really motivating to do much of anything.

So we puttered, arranged and found plenty to do around the house.  As there are always things to do around the house!  After my miles in my new shoes were complete I took to helping Ellie put together her latest creation!  She's making jewelry as you can see.  One of the wonderful arts and craft kits she's received putting to good use in the rain.

A few more errands - cars to get inspected, planning for Bill and Ellie's trip to Saratoga and the usual suspects of things to get ready for the week left to do!  We'll make some pulled pork to feast on for game time tonight at 5CT as we continue to rout the USA in the World Cup.

We're not letting a little rain get in our way!
