OH MY! We're getting ready to paint!
We've Painted!!While Bill enjoys Father/Son/Friend Yankee Weekend, the girls are playing! Ellie & I took care of some Father's Day gifts in the a.m. and then went to Creative Sparks to paint a plate for our new dining room. Ellie picked the paint colors and the stamps and we went to work! It will take a week for the finished product but you can see the start here. After that we walked to Congress Park to chase the ducks and ride the Carousel. It was a gorgeous to enjoy the park. Lots of kids running, parent pushing strollers and everyone enjoying themselves. Ellie listened patiently to my story of how her father took me there when he proposed! She still beleives SHE is going to marry him, but at least I showed her the spot where it began for us!
